Biography

Eric Hewitson is the Head of Communications at Wyld Networks, based in Cambridge, UK, specializing in sensor-to-satellite IoT technologies. A recognized speaker at the LoRa Alliance and Cambridge Wireless, he received the LoRa Alliance Distinguished Service Award in 2022.

Eric chairs the Smart Industry Work Group at the LoRa Alliance and is an active member of its marketing committee. With extensive experience in hardware, software, and SaaS business development, he has led IoT projects for satellite and LPWAN solutions, focusing on utilities such as tank level, water flow, and water pressure monitoring.
